Residents and visitors to Watford town centre over the next few weeks can join in with carol singing and art workshops organised by Watford Borough Council.
As well as taking the family to Santa’s fabulous grotto in Watford Market every Saturday in December, shoppers can also expect a range of entertainment between 12 and 4pm in Charter Place and St. Mary’s Square.
On Saturday 12 December, between 12.45 and 1.15pm, students from North Herts College will perform a show about road safety, followed by Leal Performing Arts between 1.30-2.30pm, performing songs and dance inspired by Scrooge!
Then in Watford’s first pop-up art gallery shop – Watford Art Space – the Watford Recycling Arts Project are running a free art workshop from 2.30-4pm. Families can create festive recycled head gear surrounded by original art created by local artists.
