Wheely good idea
A cyclist from Croxley Green has pedalled to Paris to raise money for charity.
Mike Finch, 32, and his father-in-law, Paul Grose, 57, completed the 300 mile ride on Wednesday, June 11.
Mr Finch, a chartered accountant, recently lost his mother Christine to cancer and the challenge was undertaken in her memory. The money raised will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care, a charity she thought highly of.
Marie Curie provide free at-home nursing care for terminally ill patients, so they can have the choice of dying at home surrounded by family. They also provide emotional support for the families of patients.
The pair have been training for nine months in preparation for the gruelling trip and will arrive at the finish line, under the Eiffel Tower, (pictured) on Saturday, June 14.
